East Carolina's Darryl
Lawhorn coils to take a cut during the ECU-Charlotte game on Saturday at
Fieldcrest-Cannon Stadium in Kannapolis. The Pirates lost 4-2, but the
freshman slugger managed a single in one of his four plate appearances
to extend his hitting streak to 12 games. During the streak, the
Wilmington first-baseman has hit safely 23 times in 47 at bats (.489),
scored 13 runs and had 12 runs batted in. |
