broadcast rights for the enjoyment of tens of thousands of Pirate fans who
cannot attend the game."

Jurich
inks pact with Atlanta Braves
LOUISVILLE — University of Louisville senior
outfielder Mark Jurich signed a pro contract today with the Atlanta Braves.
Jurich will report to Orlando, Florida on June 9th before heading to
Danville, VA, where he will play for the Danville Braves of the Appalachian
League.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Drafted last season in the 13th round by the Braves,
Jurich had his rights retained by Atlanta as a fifth-year senior and had the
option of signing, becoming a free-agent or resubmitting his name into the
MLB Draft where he was expected to be tabbed in the top five rounds.
Baseball America placed him as the top prospect
coming out of the state of Kentucky into the 2004 draft.
Jurich was named first-team All-Conference USA in
2002 and 2004 and hit .353 with 47 runs, 19 doubles, three triples, 19 home
runs and 60 RBI in 56 games this season. He posted a .702 slugging
